Ombudsmen's regional clinic schedule
Each year, the Ombudsmen and their investigating staff visit a number of areas around New Zealand to conduct "clinics". People who have complaints about central or local government agencies are invited to make an appointment to attend a clinic in their local area to discuss their concerns with an Ombudsman or one of their investigating staff.
We also use clinics as an opportunity to visit staff at local councils to discuss general issues or specific complaints and to visit other organisations such as Citizens Advice Bureaux and Community Law Centres.
Once the dates and venues of upcoming clinics are confirmed, details will be listed on this webpage and advertised in regional and local newspapers closer to the relevant times.
If a clinic is not being held in your area, or you are not able to attend a clinic, you are welcome to contact the Office of the Ombudsmen directly on free phone 0800 802 602 to discuss your complaint.
